Tradewinds HD is a San Francisco Bay Area
based video production company and electronic
media relations consultant. Michael Horn, the
director of photography, is also a co-owner.
Michael brings a vast background in broadcast
production and logistics experience, ranging
from news segment producing to theatrical stage
and motion picture productions.
We have provided field broadcast video
production in Northern California for nearly 20
years and now in HD.
The services we perform daily are shooting in HD
or SD for high end corporate clients, cable
shows, T.V. news, video news releases,
documentaries, commercials, and various new
media applications. Each shoot includes
extensive and appropriate lighting and audio. We
also edit on Final Cut Pro and if necessary we
have a system that can travel anywhere in the
world.
Our seasoned knowledge of the San Francisco and
Monterey Bay areas allows us to serve as, or
work with location scouts. Additionally, we have
traveled extensively throughout much of Asia and
Europe.
The portability and high quality of Sony’s
compact HDV equipment, along with our editing
fly package, allows us to keep mobilization
costs down. Tradewinds HD can be ready to go at
a moment’s notice and upload video from almost
anywhere on the planet.
